Good day to all! Today is the big travel day. I was up at 3 am and Hannes was up much earlier, 2 am. Checked out of hotel and went over to terminal 3 for check in with CanJet for 4 am. There were already several people in line. Check in was fast, security also fast, no problems. We grabbed some breakfast as we had lots of time before boarding at 6:30. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have had scrambled eggs, bacon and toast at 4:30 am!
There is a slight dusting of snow on the ground here in Toronto. Hope it does not delay the flight. Apparently it is supposed to be much worse tomorrow so it looks like we are leaving at a good time.
It is exciting to think that in just a few hours we will be in a tropical paradise.
By the time you & Hannes read this, you'll be in sunny, hot Venezuela!!! Lovin' this blog, Sandy... it really is a cool thing to keep us updated on your adventure! I can't wait to tell Wilma to get "in on this"! I don't know if she's home from Vegas yet (all is quiet on her f/b page)! :) Enjoy, my friend! xoxoxo
